# Install Akamas

Akamas is deployed on your Kubernetes cluster through a [Helm chart](https://helm.sh/docs/), and all the required images can be downloaded from the AWS ECR repository.

Two installation modes are available:

* [**online installation**](https://docs.akamas.io/akamas-docs/3.6/installing/kubernetes/install-akamas/online), in case the Kubernetes cluster can access the Internet.
* [**offline installation**](https://docs.akamas.io/akamas-docs/3.6/installing/kubernetes/install-akamas/offline), in case the Kubernetes cluster does not have access to the Internet or you need to use a private image registry.
