# Configure an external identity provider

To configure an external identity provider, start by accessing the Keycloak administration console. Refer to [accessing-keycloak-admin-console](https://docs.akamas.io/akamas-docs/3.6/managing-akamas/users-management/accessing-keycloak-admin-console "mention") for detailed instructions.

Within the **Akamas** realm, navigate to the **Identity Providers** section.
