# Configure an external identity provider

To configure an external identity provider, start by accessing the Keycloak administration console. Refer to [Accessing Keycloak admin console](/akamas-docs/managing-akamas/users-management/accessing-keycloak-admin-console.md) for detailed instructions.

Within the **Akamas** realm, navigate to the **Identity Providers** section.
